Reportedly mahindra & Mahindra's subsidiary Classic Legends today launched Jawa Perak in india for an introductory price of Rs 1.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The all-new Perak is the third model from the house of Jawa Motorcycles to be launched in the country after Jawa and Jawa Forty Two.
Showcasing a Bobber design, the new Jawa Perak is powered by a BS6-compliant, 334 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC engine that makes 30 bhp and 31 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission.
Its price was quoted at Rs 1.89 lakh. A jump of Rs 5,000 in the price of Perak might be attributed to its compliance with the upcoming BS6 (BS-VI) emission norms. The bookings for Jawa Perak will begin officially on the Jawa Motorcycles website on january 1, 2020.
