Bollywood actress nora fatehi on thursday appeared before the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of delhi police for investigation in the extortion case involving alleged thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar. He said that this is the second time that delhi police has called him for questioning for his alleged role in the case. police said that he would be interrogated in front of pinky Irani, who was allegedly through whom he met Chandrashekhar. On Wednesday, actor jacqueline fernandez was interrogated in connection with the case.

A senior police officer told news agency PTI that both Irani and actress  Fatehi has joined the investigation at the office of the Economic Offenses Wing on Mandir Marg. "First they will be interrogated separately and then they will be face to face and interrogated together," the official said. The official said that though the agency had questioned Fatehi for six to seven hours on september 2 and recorded his statement, he is being questioned further as there are "some unanswered questions".

The official said, "There are some contradictions in the statements made by the Iranian side. So it is that we interrogate in front of both Irani and Nora. Also, Irani is suspected of playing a key role. Therefore, we must ask unanswered questions and seek clarity." nora fatehi was earlier questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the case.

On Wednesday, Fernandez was questioned for over eight hours and according to the police, he cooperated during the investigation and may be called for questioning again. Chandrashekhar, currently in jail, is accused of defrauding various people, including high-profile individuals such as Aditi Singh, wife of Shivinder Mohan Singh, a former Fortis Healthcare promoter.

The ED had filed a charge sheet on august 17, naming Fernandez as an accused in the multi-crore money laundering case involving Chandrashekhar. According to the ED, Fatehi, and Fernandez got luxury cars and other expensive gifts from him.
