The legendary actor and director Rishab Shetty, who just won the coveted dadasaheb phalke Award for his role in Kantara as "Most Promising Actor," shocked the audience at a Bengaluru event today. He said that the research on Kantara 2 had begun and had turned up some intriguing information. Rishab Shetty said in his conversation with the locals that his team is now looking for material for the Kantara prequel.
The movie will follow a similar plot, although the hero-director promised a change in the film's genre. He also said that the new Kantara movie will include a lot of surprises. Yet even though he kept quiet regarding Rajnikanth's involvement in the movie, his silence spoke volumes.
