When their original films aren't in theatres, it has recently been fashionable for several major producers to release tamil and other dubbed films. The release of these dubbed movies has become problematic when other major motion pictures are in theatres; this was seen during the last Sankranthi. Here is the most recent tidbit.

The rights of tamil Superstar Vijay's forthcoming movie Leo, which is being directed by the incredibly brilliant lokesh kanagaraj and is scheduled for release on october 19th, are now being negotiated by a major producer from telugu tinsel town. What's more, although they haven't made an official announcement, the release dates for the two major telugu films, balayya and Anil Ravipudi's Bhagavat kesari as well as Raviteja's tiger Nageswara Rao, are also slated for the same period. And after a day or two, boyapati Sreenu and ram Pothineni's film is probably going to be released in theatres within the same time period.

With carefully drafted contracts, theatre lock-ins, and other things, this large producer is currently attempting to bring Vijay's Leo to telugu cinemas. Many people are perplexed as to why these producers have abandoned morality when it comes to bringing dubbed pictures, as those endeavours will cut into the profits of local films. Leo can't be stopped, though, since telugu films are currently on their way to being released across all of India. Let's wait and see.
