According to sources Forbes recently released their list of highest paid Indian celebrities and Shah Rukh Khan, at 65th rank, is the top Indian celebrity. He reportedly has earnings of $38 million according to Forbes. The 51 year old superstar has earned significantly this year from Raees in the form of upfront fees and a cut of the back-end for his efforts. He also earned a lot through endorsements. 



Sources have stated that the only two Indians on this list apart from SRK are Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. With yearly earnings of $ 37 million, Salman Khan stands at the 71st rank. Salman Khan’s last hit was Sultan, which reportedly made around Rs 588 crore worldwide at the last count.

Currently basking in the success of his recent film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Akshay Kumar stood at the 80th rank, with earnings of $ 35.5 million. In the past year, he has starred in four films, apart from endorsements for products ranging from deodorant to batteries. Accordingly the 100 highest paid celebrities only have 10 actors in all, with musicians and athletes dominating the rankings.
