However, according to rumours, DVV Danayya decided not to proceed with the planned prabhas movie under Maruthi's direction. There are rumours that Danayya gave prabhas a Rs. 50 crore advance for this movie. prabhas will devote one week per month to this project.

The movie with Maruthi is currently on hold due to Prabhas' numerous obligations, including the production of Projekt K and the dubbing of Adipurush and Salaar. But abruptly, Danayya pulled out of this project for reasons that are unknown. Thus, the quest for a producer has resumed. There need to be a producer who can advance prabhas Rs 50 Cr and wait for his approval. There have been rumours that UV Banner was considering taking on this project in collaboration with an OTT platform.

However, it appears it didn't pan out, and the opportunity instead went to a major distributor/producer who made it clear that he couldn't commit to this project unless he knew with certainty when prabhas would arrive on the set. A significant banner has now stepped up to take on this initiative. The production company recently had a tremendous success, thus they are currently making this Prabhas-starrer. The only thing that will change is the producer; everything else will stay the same.
