In the Rs 200 crore extortion case connected to conman Sukesh chandrasekhar, bollywood actress jacqueline fernandez was granted an interim bail. The relief was granted by Special Judge Shailendra Malik in exchange for a personal bond of Rs. 50,000; the next hearing will take place on october 22. Sukesh chandrasekhar, a conman, is accused of extorting Rs 200 crore from Shivinder Singh, a former promoter of Fortis Healthcare.
Actresses jacqueline fernandez and nora fatehi have also acknowledged getting pricey gifts from Sukesh during lengthy interrogations in the case. Sukesh is accused of giving Jacqueline presents worth Rs. 5.71 crore that he reportedly acquired through criminal activity, including extortion.
