Everyone is well aware that Shaakuntalam, the film directed by gunasekhar and Samantha, was released last week amid high anticipation, but it disappointed everyone and was a huge box office failure. In addition to failing to impress the audience, Shaakuntalam also caused gunasekhar to pass out.

In addition to giving the project his all, gunasekhar also invested his personal cash in it. Although gunasekhar is the only co-producer of this movie, dil raju is considered to have contributed the least to the budget. Shaakuntalam's budget had run out of control, and gunasekhar had believed that he could recover it through cinema screenings, but the movie was a dismal flop at the box office. With Shaakuntalam's terrible outcome, gunasekhar is currently in financial and personal ruin.

Shaakuntalam, a lavishly funded film that was made in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, is based on the critically acclaimed sanskrit play "Abhijnana Shaakuntalam" by Kalidasa. The movie, which was also made in 3D, was produced by neelima Guna and presented by dil raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Shaakuntalam, directed by Guna Sekhar, stars Samantha. In this movie, Dev Mohan portrayed the part of king Dushyant, and Allu Arjun's daughter allu arha played prince Bharata. Important roles were played by Aditi Balan, Prakash Raj, Gauthami, Madhu Bala, Sachin Khedekar, Mohan Babu, and ananya Nagalla. The music for this movie was written by Mani Sharma.
