Why OMG 2 script was rejected by production companies?

The CBFC approved the movie with a few changes and an A certificate, but the director amit Rai claims he wanted everyone to see his most recent release OMG 2 in theatres. The film, which features pankaj tripathi and akshay kumar in the lead roles, examines a variety of teenage-related topics, including sex education. It premiered on august 11.

The filmmaker is pleased with the reaction of the audience after being "heartbroken" by the censor board's decision to restrict viewing of the film to adults (A certification). Within ten days of its release, OMG 2 brought in 101.61 crore at the domestic box office, the film's producers revealed on Sunday. We were devastated because we made the movie so that everyone could watch it, but that is no longer possible, he said. We begged them to give us a U/A certificate so that we could watch the movie with our parents, but they refused. We persisted in our efforts to persuade them. But after that, both of us and they continued to walk. The movie has been released with changes.

"We are delighted that viewers enjoyed the movie. The movie's intentions were good. The audience liked it because no one tried to make them uncomfortable. We handled it (the story) in a way that isn't offensive. We discuss reality, but in a kind and humorous way," amit said in an interview with PTI.
