Vijay's Leo defeats Killers of the Flower Moon!!!

Leo, directed by Vijay, opened worldwide on Thursday, october 19, and is currently enjoying tremendous success. The action movie in tamil has reportedly made $48.5 million globally, surpassing the total earnings of Leonardo DiCaprio's much-awaited flick Killers of the Flower Moon. This information comes from a recent Variety story.

Variety has reported that, as of four days ago, the global total for the lokesh Kangaraj-directed film Leo is $48.5 million. At $44 million, Martin Scorsese's 3.5-hour thriller Killers of the Flower Moon, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, and Robert De Niro, is slightly behind.

Leo is a member of the lokesh Cinematic Universe, which also includes Vikram (2022) and Kaithi (2019). It centres on Vijay's character, who must go back to his harsh upbringing. Among the other actors in the movie are Mansoor ali Khan, Mysskin, gautham Vasudev Menon, Sanjay Dutt, and trisha Krishnan. Both reviewers and viewers had conflicting opinions about Leo. A passage from the HT review of Leo read, "Vijay's acting in emotionally charged sequences conjures virtually nothing, which also doesn't help! The underlying villainy of Anthony and Harold Das is ludicrous; they are drug lords, and killing hundreds of people isn't enough because Leo Das is one of them."
