After sixteen days in cinemas, lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo, starring Vijay, continues to captivate audiences. industry tracker Sacnilk reports that on its third Friday, the movie brought in Rs 2.2 crore at the domestic box office, bringing its total domestic receipts to Rs 319.8 crore. sanjay dutt and trisha krishnan co-star in the Vijay film. 

Leo still has 597 concerts in chennai with a 20.30% occupancy rate. Currently, the movie has a gross worldwide collection of Rs 557.8 crore. Leo, the third-highest grossing tamil movie ever, is presently the most successful film directed by lokesh, behind Rajinikanth's Jailer (2023) and 2.0 (2018).

Even before it was released, criticism surrounded Vijay's flick. Following the cancellation of the film's audio debut, the actor did not advertise the picture. Nonetheless, Vijay recently spoke about some of the movie's issues during a success meet. He asked viewers to see the movie detached from their emotions. The august release of Rajinikanth's Jailer brought in Rs 604 crore globally. Leo still has to earn an additional Rs 46.2 crore to beat Jailer's record. Whether Leo can become the second most grossing film in tamil cinema history is still to be seen.
