Actress shalini pandey is best known for sandeep Reddy Vanga's arjun Reddy. Her pairing with vijay deverakonda in this film was well-liked by the audience. But, shalini was not a part of the hindi remake Kabir Singh. shahid kapoor and kiara advani were seen in their hindi remake. The actress recently shared her thoughts about Kabir Singh. He told how kiara Advani's character was different from his.

In a recent conversation, shalini pandey was asked whether she felt that she could have done a better job than kiara advani in the hindi remake. The actress replied, 'I don't know. I never thought of it that way. I took that film as a completely different film. Apart from this, I believe that two people have different energies and vibes, and like chemistry, it varies with different people. I have no opinion about whether I should have been there, or whether I would have played this character.

The arjun reddy actress said, 'I have done it and I have done it in a certain way and that was Preeti for me, but what kiara and shahid have brought in the context of kabir singh will be completely their own and different.  He further said, 'Director sandeep Reddy Vanga is making the same film but in this two different people are coming together and a completely new chemistry is being seen. So I don't think I thought about it that way, I just enjoyed their chemistry and stance on it.
