The sequence in which Rannvijay Balbir stands for a family photo was also shot on the Pataudi palace grounds.

Saif's grandfather, the Nawab of Pataudi, Iftikhar ali Khan Pataudi, erected the Palace in the 1930s. Following Mansoor ali Khan's death, the property was leased to a hotel company.
