As filmmaker Vassisht of Bimbisara fame is creating the #Mega156 quite prestigiously, megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film is a straight flick with lots of visual extravagance all around. chiranjeevi recently took a break from filming to vote in telangana elections and returned to Hyderabad. Now for an intriguing tidbit about this project.

In fact, senior heroine anushka shetty was already revealed to be the lone heroine in this film, and she would be joining the set shortly. But it appears that things are not going as planned, and there may be a change in leadership. Following anushka Shetty's failure to lose weight as predicted, it has now been revealed that megastar chiranjeevi has proposed a new name for the heroine role, none other than trisha Krishnan. With films like Ponniyan Selvan and LEO reintroducing the 40-year-old tamil superstar to the public eye, megastar appears to want to bring her back to Tollywood.

Trisha and chiranjeevi were matched for stalin and were meant to pair again for koratala Siva's Acharya. However, owing to creative disagreements, trisha was replaced with Kajal Aggarwal, and later the latter's character was cut from the film. Anyway, we'll have to wait for an official announcement on Trisha's involvement in Chiru's film, if it happens.
