Nusrat's pain spilled over loneliness in the industry
In fact, in an interview with bollywood Bubble, Nusrat was asked if people in the industry feel lonely. To this, the actress replied, "You know, you have asked me this question at a very wrong time in my life. So it is not right, and it is very lonely. I have a friend, ishita Raj, and building this bond with her, it took time, this thick friendship scene, which is very rare in the industry, to be very honest. But we both are there."
There was no one to celebrate the award
She further said, "And you know, it was in recent months when I told her, 'Ishita, who do I have yaar? Where are the friends? Where is the support system? Where is that one person?' I remember I had received an award from the city - what film was it, I don't even remember. Did you see it?" Nusrat further recalled, "I was sitting in the car with the award, and I was alone. I told myself, 'Who should I tell yaar? I have won an award. With whom should I celebrate? With whom should I share the happiness?' It's just time."
Why glamorize loneliness?
The 39-year-old actress also questioned why people glamorize loneliness, saying, "Loneliness has become a functionality system, why are we glamorizing it? I honestly don't understand it, I don't understand why it's so okay to say, 'Oh, it doesn't matter. It doesn't affect me.'"
