Actress Hina Khan has reacted to the alleged rape and murder of a woman in Nishat area of Srinagar. Hina Khan is angry about this barbaric incident. The actress said that an incident like rape cannot be justified by giving the excuse of alcohol, religion, community, and clothes. Hina Khan has made a long post on Instagram.

Hina wrote, 'Someone explain to these fools the difference between sexual harassment and rape. Rape is rape. murder is murder. The description of sexual harassment can be different, but this is the first sign of rape. The rapist blames everyone except himself. Do not behave like that criminal. Do not use alcohol to let the criminal go free. Do not justify rape. Do not justify sexual harassment. Not in the name of religion, community, geography or attire. Demons are present everywhere, in every community, every religion. They are waiting in ambush for an opportunity.'
Further Hina Khan wrote, 'Alcohol can be the reason for many things but it does not make a good man a rapist. Stop blaming alcohol. A good man can handle alcohol like he handles physical strength better than a woman. He uses it to protect women. The right time has come to tell what happened without beating around the bush. Just because it was done by a Kashmiri Muslim and you are blaming alcohol for your agenda.'
Apart from this, Hina Khan also said that she is not justifying drinking alcohol. Whether alcohol should be banned in kashmir or not is a personal choice. Whether you want to drink alcohol or want to ban it, it is your own choice. Just do not use a heinous crime for your agenda.
