According to a Variety report, Chinese actor Jackie Chan was honored with the Career Achievement Award 'Pardo alla Carriera' at the ongoing Locarno Film festival 2025 in Switzerland. Along with this, he shared an incident from a film with Bruce Lee and said, 'I am not a Superman. I am scared. Before any stunt, I think, 'Will I die this time?'


Jackie Chan also talked about his early career. While talking to Variety, he jokingly said, "I was lazy, naughty, did not want to study, so my father sent me to martial arts school. In childhood, I liked fighting. Later, he asked, 'Did you like school?' I said, Yes, I liked it very much. I could kick the teacher, punch someone, do whatever I wanted.'


The actor also admitted that he never wanted to limit himself to just acting. Jackie Chan said, 'I do everything myself. Now, I tell filmmakers, 'If you only learn to direct, that is not enough.' While accepting the award, Chan recalled a conversation with his father when he asked him, 'I am 60 years old. Can you still fight at the age of 60?' Chan replied, 'I didn't know what to say. But now I am 71 years old and I can still fight.'
