What is the status of indians stuck in the turkey earthquake?

The Ministry of External Affairs said that 10 indians are stuck in earthquake-affected areas in turkey and one indian is missing. The death toll from Monday's unprecedented earthquakes in turkey is approaching 10,000. At the same time, around 3,000 people died in the earthquake in neighboring Syria. The total death toll is said to exceed 20,000. In this context, the Ministry of External Affairs says that the National Disaster Response Force has been dispatched from ghaziabad and calcutta under the name of 'Operation Dost' to help indians stranded in earthquake-affected areas in Turkey.
Speaking to reporters, External Affairs Secretary Sanjay Verma said that 10 indians have stuck in the earthquake-affected areas but they were not affected by the earthquake. Sanjay Verma informed us that an indian has gone missing and is in touch with his family. He went to Malatya, turkey on business and stayed at a hotel there. The hotel building where he was staying collapsed due to the earthquake. The Foreign Secretary also said that the search for him is ongoing. A control room has been set up in the city of Adana in the southern part of Turkey. Two Turkish-speaking indian officials are available to help, he said.A special assistance center has been set up at the indian Embassy in Ankara. Provision is made for contacting assistance over the phone. 75 indians have called for help, said Sanjay Verma. There are about 3 thousand indians in Turkey. 1850 people live in the capital city of Istanbul and its surrounding areas. 250 are in Ankara. Others live in different areas.
