Jaishankar: My father was victimised by Indira Gandhi...

Foreign minister S jaishankar on tuesday hit back at rahul Gandhi's statement on China. jaishankar said that congress leaders are spreading the narrative that the government of india is scared.

In an interview with ANI, S.Jaishkar talked about the injustice meted out to his father and said that he was the cabinet secretary. But in 1980, when indira gandhi returned to power again, he was removed from the post of secretary. jaishankar said that I always wanted to follow in my father's footsteps. It was my dream to become the best Foreign service Officer. To me, becoming a foreign secretary was the definition of achieving that excellence. My father was a bureaucrat, who became the youngest cabinet secretary in the Janata government in 1979. But in 1980, the Indira government removed him.

S jaishankar said on Congress's allegations that india had sent a large number of its troops amid tension along the border with China. Today we have the largest army deployment in history on the border of china and I am taking the name of China. The foreign minister's remarks came on an allegation raised in parliament by the congress that the government was shying away from discussing the clash with the Chinese army in Tawang.

Tense on Congress

Jaishankar taunted the congress in gestures and said that some people might be having some difficulty understanding the words starting with 'C'. But it is not true. I think they are deliberately trying to misrepresent the situation. The government is serious about every activity happening on the border.

Rahul gandhi raised questions

Congress mp rahul gandhi has repeatedly raised questions about the Modi government on the issue of China. rahul gandhi says that the government is afraid to name China. This is the reason why the government does not give any answer on the issue of china in Parliament.
