Reportedly with the panic of corona virus, temples across the country are appealing to the people not to visit for time being. In kerala, as the state reported most positive cases, sabarimala temple board asked the devotees to cut down their visit to the temple. After sabarimala, tirumala tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) have made the same appeal.
As per report the ttd had asked devotees especially the NRIs not to visit tirumala for four weeks after their arrival in India. tirumala is the most busiest temple in the country and there are high chances of the virus spreading fast. Keeping this in view, the ttd imposed few restrictions on nri devotees.
Moreover luckily so far not even a single case has been reported in andhra pradesh yet the authorities are vigilant on taking precautions. people and devotees would certainly consider TTDs appeal as the virus is leading to death. tirumala is the most busiest temple in the country and there are high chances of the virus spreading fast.
