In Cuddalore, Vanathi Srinivasan mla said that the government is deceiving the people without keeping their promises. Vanathi Srinivasan mla In an interview with reporters, said, "The DMK has not fulfilled its election promise and has done nothing for the people. The government is deceiving and it is clearly painful for the people who have trusted them. 


People from all walks of life have demanded that petrol-diesel prices be brought under GST. DMK government has slashed the petrol prices following the election promise to cut petrol and diesel prices. But they have said that the central government should reduce the price of petrol further and thrown the blame on us now. 


The raids on certain ministers residences are being done due to political turmoil and we condemn such actions. The White Paper is just a declaration for not being able to fulfill their promises which they have kept during the election campaign. A museum should be set up to commemorate the brave life of the martyrs and to inform the youth of today about the life of the martyrs." However, Vanathi Srinivasan never spoke about bjp President annamalai who has been appointed as the tamil Nadu Head President by the bjp government itself.
