The Hijab row in karnataka took a U-turn and came with a new issue. The students of IDSG college in Chikkamaglur district came in blue shawls in support of Muslim students wearing Hijabs. They raised the slogan 'Jai Bheem' and also condemned the discouragement of education and communalisation of education. The video of students confronting IDSG college supporting the ones wearing hijabs and those who opposed it came in saffron shawls. The slogans were raised saying 'Jai Bheem' vs 'Jai Shri Ram'. This video of the protest is becoming viral on Twitter.
Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai and B.C. Nagesh, education minister has advised all that not to get provoked and told them to follow government orders in this issue. Many students across the state came to colleges wearing saffron shawls and Blue hijabs. Addressing the media, cm Bommai said that students should follow the government order in wearing the uniform and following dress codes.
