Several districts in central andhra pradesh are under a heatwave alert from the indian Meteorological Department (IMD). High temperatures of up to 44 degrees Celsius are anticipated in the districts of Krishna, Eluru, Prakasam, Nellore, and Vijayawada. Nandiwada in the krishna district and narasaraopet in the Palnadu district both recorded a maximum temperature of 44.5 degrees Celsius. The state's lowest temperature was 38 degrees Celsius.
People are encouraged by the IMD to take preventative measures against the heat by drinking plenty of water, dressing in lightweight clothing, and avoiding vigorous exercise during the day.

The coastal districts of Anakapalli, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Parvathipuram Manyam, Vizianagaram, and srikakulam are anticipated to see brief rains. The Surface Trough, which extends across chhattisgarh from west bihar to north Telangana, may cause a minor reduction in temperature in AP.

Following are some pointers for remaining protected during a heatwave:

Drink plenty of liquids, such as water, juice, or sports drinks, to stay hydrated.
Avoid engaging in vigorous activities when it's hot outside.
Don light-colored, loose-fitting clothes.
Take cold baths or showers.
If at all feasible, stay in an air-conditioned room.
Seek immediate medical treatment if you have any heat-related symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, or dizziness.
