Sujana Chowdary's Mediciti Medical college no longer has recognition from the Medical Council of india, and admissions to the college have been suspended for the academic year 2023–2024. In 2002, a 40-acre campus under the name Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences was established outside of hyderabad in the medchal Malkajigiri area. Since 2012–13, 100 medical students have been admitted annually.

150 seats were added in 2018, up from 100. During normal inspections, the MCI discovered that the college had engaged in some irregularities. There are currently 150 PG students and 750 MBBS students there. government Medical college Sangareddy has been given approval by the Medical Council of india (MCI) to begin classes in the 2022–2023 academic year with 150 MBBS seats.

On the grounds of the government Hospital Sangareddy, the construction of the college building was already complete and cost Rs 30 crore. So far, 54 doctors and 43 senior residents have been hired. To begin lessons this academic year, the Vaidya Vidhana Parishad has also finished the mandatory recruitments at all levels.
