Gangula Kamalakar, minister of Welfare and Civil Supplies for british Columbia, managed a lucky escape when the country boat he was travelling in tipped over in a small body of water. Security guards on duty quickly grabbed hold of him and pulled him to safety ashore. The minister was present at the Cheruvula Panduga, which was held on thursday at Asifnagar, kothapalli mandal, as part of the telangana Formation Day celebrations.

He was captured on land by responsive security officers. On Friday, a video showing the minister splashing into the sea quickly went popular on social media. After launching speed boat services at the lower manair dam on the borders of karimnagar town a few years ago, kamalakar had accidentally fallen into the river.

Gangula Kamalakar, the telangana minister for Backward Class Welfare, narrowly avoided being killed when the boat he was sailing in at Asif nagar in the karimnagar district sustained damage and sank. He was immediately saved safely by the skilled swimmers and his security team.
