Joining the bharatiya janata party and seeking assembly ticket from Madhya Pradesh, the difficulties of a

retired ISS may increase. The Lokayukta has filed a corruption case against former collector of Narsinghpur

district and retired IAS Ved Prakash Sharma. However, this FIR was registered in december 2022 and now

many questions are being raised after its disclosure.

Let us tell here that former collector of Narsinghpur district and retired IAS Ved Prakash Sharma had recently

joined bjp in the presence of Union home minister amit shah in Gwalior. The case of misuse of office filed

ten months ago against Ved Prakash Sharma, who is going to start his political innings after retirement, has

suddenly come into limelight on thursday (August 24). To say that this FIR was registered in december 2022,

but its genie has now come out.

A complaint was presented by Ramakant Kaurav, a resident of Narsinghpur, at the Lokayukta Headquarters,

Bhopal, in which he was accused of issuing arms license to a criminal element in an illegal manner.

Some facts of this complaint were presented by him before the Lokayukta. Complainant Ramakant Kaurav told

that despite being transferred from the post of collector of Narsinghpur, on the day before the holiday, IAS

Ved Prakash had given arms license to one of his close ones. Not only this, licenses were issued by him to

more than 100 people who were of criminal nature while being Narsinghpur collector.

Lokayukta DSP dilip Jharwade told that in 2021, a long investigation went on on this complaint made at the

Lokayukta headquarters. After this, in december 2022, a case was filed against former IAS Ved Prakash

Sharma in Lokayukta Jabalpur, which is currently under discussion.
