Government General Hospital surgeons left a surgical cotton within the body of a lady they had performed a caesarian section on, which was a case of carelessness. On Tuesday, a woman from the hamlet of Nelwai had surgery. keerthi Laila, a lady, experienced health issues and was taken urgently to a Chennur government hospital. She had surgical cotton removed from her body later by doctors, and her condition is now reportedly becoming worse. She underwent a caesarian delivery of a kid five days after being brought to GGH.

GGH superintendent Dr. Harishchandra reddy stated that administrators at the hospital had ordered an investigation and that they will act on the findings of the report once it was presented. In the Chennur hospital on Monday, a cotton pad that was left behind by the physicians during a C-section procedure was taken out of a woman's tummy. In Vemanpelli Mandal's Neelwai village, keerthi Laya was admitted to the hospital on august 25 after giving birth. But after having a C-section and leaving the hospital, she reported having a stomachache.

A cotton pad was found in the woman's abdomen when her relatives later took her to a hospital in Chennur for an X-ray. It was discovered that the medical staff at the government hospital in Macherial had neglected to take out the cotton pad that was being used to stop the bleeding. However, a little incision in her abdomen was used to subsequently remove the cotton pad. Later, keerthi was sent to the government hospital in mancherial for additional observation. Her condition is reportedly steady.
