Special Judge MK Nagpal has issued orders in this regard. Moreover, the judge said in his order that this order should not affect the ongoing investigation in any way. There was a complaint that INX media Company was involved in irregularities in receiving foreign direct investment. karthi chidambaram was accused of abusing the power of his father P chidambaram, who was a Union minister, to help INX. In this regard, the cbi and the enforcement department are investigating separately against p. chidambaram and Karthi.



Furthermore karthi chidambaram had filed a petition in the court seeking permission to travel abroad. In it, he said that he has been invited to participate in the famous international tennis tournament called St. Tropez Open, which will be held in St. Tropez, france from september 18 to 24, and after that, he had to go there to see his daughter who is working in london, so he requested permission to go to both countries. The petition also stated that he was required to attend certain meetings and business activities in london as his company Totus tennis Limited, a co-organizer of ATP tournaments, was incorporated.


Meanwhile during the hearing on this petition, the cbi and the Enforcement Directorate objected to Karti Chidambaram's going abroad. It is also alleged that he is not cooperating properly with the investigation. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court ordered the payment of a security deposit of Rs 1 crore and allowed karti chidambaram to go abroad. Before going abroad, the court ordered to formalize and register his itinerary, also to submit details of places or hotels where he is staying and his contact numbers abroad.
