In the second phase, beginning on september 21, recipients would receive up to 13,300 double-bedroom homes, according to KT Rama Rao, minister of municipal administration, who made the announcement on Friday. After a high-level assessment meeting on the city's 2 BHK plan, he stated that the first phase of the program dispersed roughly 11,700 double-bedroom homes. Beginning on september 21, the government planned to give 13,300 new homes.

According to Rao, telangana is proud of the housing program since it is the best in the nation. The government's initiative to build a 560-square-foot, two-bedroom home was unequaled by any other State. He said that the government's commitment to giving the impoverished double-bedroom homes was a noble action. In Hyderabad, each home is worth around Rs. 50 lakh is given away gratis to those who are less fortunate. Rao said that while Hyderabad's 1 lakh double-bedroom housing units cost a total of Rs 9,100 crore to build, their market worth was really greater than Rs 50,000 crore. ktr commended the ghmc personnel for their unwavering dedication to this large-scale undertaking.

Rao emphasized that these residences were being given to eligible people and that officials were conducting the process in total openness. MLAs and other elected officials have no input in the procedure, which entails computer-based drawings carried out openly in front of the media. He sternly warned against any potential anomalies and emphasized that the relevant authorities have full responsibility.

The eagerly anticipated "Gruhalakshmi" initiative, according to the minister, would soon be implemented. The chief minister is taking into account possible modifications to the plan for the ghmc area based on inputs from ministries. The city's notary properties will soon be subject to comprehensive regulations from the government. Rao said that the process of regularising housing plots under GO 58 and 59 has given city residents much-needed respite. The government was preparing to remove encroachments on the Musi bank and provide double-bedroom homes to the impoverished residing in these regions. According to him, each assembly segment profited by the government's welfare programmes, which included double-bedroom homes, the regularisation of plots, and notary assets.
