The first week of october will see a walkout by the unions that make up the telangana State Motor Transport vehicles Joint Action Committee, which represents drivers of trucks, taxis, and autorickshaws. The jac delivered their strike notice to the road transport authorities on Saturday. The jac has requested tax exemptions, an increase in auto-meter readings, and the implementation of the vahana mitra programme from the transport welfare board.

The announcement further stated that the governor sent her congratulations and best wishes to all TSRTC personnel as they started their new jobs as government employees.


Earlier, the telangana State Road Transport Corporation (Absorption of Employees into government Service) Bill of 2023 was introduced in the assembly after being referred to the Law Secretary for advice and the governor made ten recommendations based on representations and in the best interests of the employees and the corporation.

According to a statement from the raj Bhavan, "The governor is satisfied that these recommendations have been diligently addressed after thoroughly evaluating the government's actions in response to her ten recommendations, which were made in consideration of employee representations and the overall welfare of the corporation."
