Tamilisai Soundararajan, the governor of telangana, hailed prime minister Narendra Modi on monday for the Union Cabinet's rumoured approval of the Women's Reservation Bill. She referred to it as a "historic decision" and claimed that it would inspire more women to pursue careers in politics, which would be good for society.

Gadwal Vijayalaxmi, the mayor of Greater Hyderabad, has also praised the Union cabinet for reportedly supporting the bill, which seeks to grant women 33% of the seats in the parliament and state Assemblies. She wrote on X, "The long-delayed Women's Reservation Bill has finally been approved in the cabinet today." She referred to this as a "historic moment" and expressed her sincere gratitude to BRS mla K. kavitha for her "tireless efforts."

At the same time, several netizens trolled her as she never passed the bill which has been sent by the BRS government and there was a cold war between the Ruling party and the governor already. bjp plays games in tamil Nadu and telangana with Governors ravi and Tamilsai and targeting the ruling party by not approving any bill sent by the Government.
