
Former bharatiya janata party (BJP) lok sabha member from Balaghat seat of madhya pradesh, Bodh Singh
Bhagat, joined congress on Wednesday. assembly elections are to be held in bjp ruled madhya pradesh in
November. Bhagat was a Member of parliament from 2014 to 2019. Bhagat and leaders of some other
organizations along with their supporters joined the congress in the presence of the party’s state president
kamal nath at the state congress office here.
After joining congress, Bodh Singh Bhagat said that he was influenced by congress leader rahul Gandhi. He
said that gandhi set out on a visit to india in the cold and gave the message of brotherhood. The former MP
also accused bjp of toppling the Kamal Nath-led congress government through a conspiracy in 2020. In
March 2020, current Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia left the congress along with his loyal MLAs, due to
which the congress government fell.
Called cm Shivraj as announcement machine
Accusing bjp of benefiting the capitalists, Bodh Singh Bhagat said that the promises made by Madhya
Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan cannot be trusted. Terming cm Shivraj as an announcement
machine, kamal nath accused the bjp government of the state of indulging in corruption on a large scale.
For information, let us tell you that on wednesday (September 20), about 2000 bjp officials including former
MP Bodh Singh Bhagat, BJP’s dilip Singh, Loktantrik Janata Dal (Sharad Yadav) state president Budhni
leader Rajesh patel and others were present at the State congress office, Bhopal. Supporters accepted
membership of congress Party in front of Kamal Nath. Before this, two bjp leaders from indore Pramod
Tandon and Dinesh Malhar have also resigned from the party. Apart from this, former mla Mamta meena has
also resigned from all her posts in BJP.
