
Delhi government has allowed the use of loudspeakers till 12 midnight during durga puja and Ramlila
celebrations. At present, use of loudspeakers is allowed only till 10 pm in the national capital Delhi. The file

For information, let us tell you that earlier in Delhi, loudspeakers were allowed to be played till 10 pm, which
will continue till 12 pm after the announcement. This announcement comes a day after kejriwal met the team of
officials of Luv Kush Ramlila Committee. Giving a statement on this, the CMO said that during durga puja and
Ramlila celebrations, use of loudspeakers will be allowed till 12 midnight. Currently, use of loudspeakers in the
national capital is allowed only till 10 pm. The file regarding the exemption has been sent to lg VK Saxena.
There should be no noise in residential areas – CMO
The CMO statement further said that Ramlila organizers will have to obtain police authorization and guarantee
that the use of loudspeakers does not violate noise norms in residential areas. According to trade leader Brijesh
Goyal, a team of Luv Kush Ramlila Committee met chief minister arvind kejriwal on Thursday, who
supported the proposal to allow Ramlila performances across the city till midnight instead of only 10 pm.
