A manufacturing facility would be established in telangana with a 350 crore rupee investment by Sintex, a member of the Welspun Group. On thursday in Chandanvelly near Rangareddy, industries minister KT Rama Rao and Welspun Group Chairman BK Goenka will lay the cornerstone for the Sintex manufacturing facility. At the facility, tanks, pipes, automobile parts, and ancillaries will be produced.

The company's plan to increase its activities in the State was applauded by the industries minister. He praised Sintex's management for choosing to invest in telangana and noted that the government of Telangana's progressive policies and top-notch infrastructure had inspired the firm to locate its operations there. The minister gave the assurance that the telangana government will offer every assistance to current businesses planning to increase their operations in the State.

Welspun Group Chairman BK Goenka said in a statement that the business was operating smoothly in Telangana.
