On Tuesday, the police chiefs of Hyderabad, Rachakonda, and Cyberabad inspected the preparations for the Ganesh idol procession and immersion on Thursday. C.V. Anand, the top cop in Hyderabad, travelled 19 km through Chandrayangutta, Charminar, Nayapul, Moazzam Jahi Market, telugu Talli Flyover, secretariat and People's Plaza as part of a route inspection from the Balapur Ganesha temple to Hussainsagar.Anand gave zonal DCPs specific instructions to cooperate, especially when processions intersect at the Moazzam Jahi Market. 

Stephen Raveendra, the head of the Cyberabad police department, and D.S. Chauhan, his counterpart in Rachakonda, conducted on-the-ground inspections and gave orders for zonal officers, such as DCPs, ACPs, and SOTs, to take precautions. "We are making all the security arrangements for the Ganesh idol immersion and have trained our staff for the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations months in advance," Chauhan added. On monday night, Raveendra remarked, "Ganapati celebrations are taking place peacefully in all areas under the jurisdiction of Cyberabad commissionerate," after checking the ponds and mandapams.
