While thousands of worshippers traveled to the city to see Ganesh being immersed, videos of a police officer dancing to dj music in Tank Bund captured everyone's attention and went viral on social media. On thursday, september 28, Ganesh Shobhayatra was celebrated all across Hyderabad, and more than one lakh idols were submerged in Hussain Sagar.

The Necklace Road was crowded with worshippers as usual. police officers stationed next to an artificial immersion pond were observed entertaining bystanders by dancing to the music amongst crowds. people began to cheer as a policeman did dancing movements while perched on top close to the barriers.

People in the audience whistled in support of the officers as they danced fervently to the tune of the popular tamil song "Appadi Podu." The Balapur Ganesh is now traveling to Hussain Sagar through Charminar. The idol will travel a long way before being lowered into the lake. On the other side, on thursday afternoon, Hussain Sagar was used to immerse the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh procession that had passed by Telephone Bhavan and the Secretariat. The immersion of the huge idol was conducted peacefully without any mishaps.
