G kishan reddy, the Union minister for Tourism, charged the telangana administration for refusing to work with the Centre to build airports in the State to improve air connectivity. Speaking at a news conference here on Friday, kishan reddy asserted that despite the center's readiness to upgrade airports in the State, the BRS administration was unable to provide the necessary funds and land. Jyotiraditya Scindia, the minister of civil aviation, had also addressed letters to the state government pleading with it to allot land for Warangal's Mamnoor airport.

"I've sent letters to the chief minister asking him to work with the Centre to build airports in the State, but he hasn't responded yet. In the past nine years, not a single new airport has been built in the State due to the State government's obstinate stance, he claimed.

The federal minister said that on october 1 and october 3, prime minister Narendra Modi would dedicate projects totaling Rs. 13,546 crore and Rs. 8021 crore, respectively, to the country. The 800 MW NTPC Super Thermal Power Station, Ramagundam, will also get a dedication from the prime minister. Stay tuned for more updates.
