The State government on saturday distributed a two-bedroom bungalow to the family of the late Bharat Bhushan, a well-known painter and photographer. In accordance with the chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's request, IT minister KT Rama Rao ordered the family to be given a home in Jiyaguda with two bedrooms.

The government paid for Bharat Bhushan's medical costs while he was critically ill out of the Chief Minister's health Fund. Subhadramma, the wife of Bharat Bhushan, thanked the chief minister and minister Rama Rao for helping them through trying times and for now giving them a house with two bedrooms.

State-born Bharat bhushan was a well-known photographer with a unique aesthetic. He was born in the warangal region in 1953, worked in photography for 40 years with a distinctive aesthetic, and attained both national and international acclaim for his numerous exhibits of photographs documenting telangana culture and rural life.

His images caught the genuine essence of telangana celebrations like Bathukamma and the splendours of rural life, reflecting his love of the region's culture. Numerous authors from the State might use his photos as the cover art for their publications. On june 2, 2015, during the ceremonies of State Formation Day, he was given "The Best Photojournalist Award." In his lifetime, Bharat bhushan has arranged seven solo photo exhibits and six art shows, garnering praise.

He performed freelancing work for several telugu periodicals. In addition to penning articles in telugu and English, he was a frequent employee of the cinema magazines "Chitrabhoomi" and "Adivaram." For the 1980 film "Ma Bhumi," he also served as still photographer and assistant director.
