CSDS Lokniti had surveyed the voters of the last two lok sabha elections. According to which Bharatiya Janata

party is getting the support of OBC votes of the country. In the 2014 lok sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party

got 34 percent OBC votes. Whereas only 15 percent OBC voters voted for Congress. Whereas after five years

i.e. in the 2019 lok sabha elections, bharatiya janata party got 44 percent OBC votes and congress got 15

percent OBC votes. Now the opposition wants to woo these OBC voters through caste survey. Because

according to the logic of the opposition, after the survey in bihar, OBCs should get a total of 63 percent

reservation, including 27% backward classes and 36% extremely backward classes.

How will caste survey affect lok sabha elections?

Journalist Abhay Dubey, while talking to ABP, said that I can clearly see the impact of the caste survey

conducted in bihar on the lok sabha elections. In fact, in the last two lok sabha elections and assembly

elections of different states, the bharatiya janata party has been heard many times saying that the people of India

are crossing the boundaries of caste and supporting Modi ji and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Now as soon as the

data of this survey has come in bihar, you can feel how much the problem of bharatiya janata party will

increase. As the survey is conducted in other states, BJP’s problems will also increase. Dubey further says – Take

bihar only, after this survey it has come out that what is the number of castes in the state. In the context of bihar,

bharatiya janata party is called Brahmin-Bania Party. There, OBCs and weaker castes are relatively less with

bharatiya janata party as compared to other parties and after this survey, it will be even more difficult for BJP.
