Congress on sunday released the first list of names of 144 candidates for next month’s Madhya Pradesh

Assembly elections, in which 69 outgoing MLAs have been included. madhya pradesh unit president of

Congress and former chief minister Kamal Nath has been fielded from his home constituency

Chhindwara, from where he is currently the MLA. Voting for the 230-member Madhya Pradesh

Assembly will be held on november 17 while the counting of votes will be held on december 3. The

party has fielded rajya sabha member Digvijay Singh’s son Jaivardhan Singh from Raghogarh and his

brother Laxman Singh from Guna’s Chachaura. Both of them are MLAs. leader of opposition in the

state assembly, Dr. Govind Singh, has been made the candidate from Lahar constituency of Bhind

district.

Vikram Mastal will be opposite Shivraj Singh

Congress has fielded actor vikram Mastal from Budhni in Sehore district against madhya pradesh Chief

Minister and bjp candidate Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Mastal has played the role of Lord Hanuman in a

TV serial. Former bjp mp Bodh Singh Bhagat, who recently joined congress, has been made the

candidate from Katangi in Balaghat district.

The first list of congress candidates includes former ministers ajay Singh (Churhat), Ramniwas Rawat

(Vijaypur), Lakhan Singh Yadav (Bhitarwar), Harsh Yadav (Deori), mukesh Nayak (Powai),

Kamleshwar patel (Sihawal), Lakha Ghanghoria (Jabalpur). East), tarun Bhanot (Jabalpur-West),

Omkar Singh Markam (Dindori), Sukhdev Panse (Multai), Sajjan Singh Verma (Sonkach), Vijay

Lakshmi Sadho (Maheshwar), Sachin Yadav (Kasrawad), bala Bachchan (Rajpur), Jeetu Patwari (Rau),

Priyavrat Singh (Khilchipur) and narendra Nahta (Manasa).
