More rains are expected in numerous regions of South india, including tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry, according to the india Meteorological Department (IMD). Heavy rain was also expected in the andaman and Nicobar Islands, while light rain was expected in the southern states during the following two days.

Meanwhile, the meteorological service issued a warning to fishermen and advised them not to travel into the south andaman Sea on Wednesday. Fishermen should avoid the southeast Bay of bengal from wednesday to Friday, and the southwest and neighbouring central Bay of bengal on thursday and Friday.

The meteorological service predicts that severe fog would reduce visibility across Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and a few northeastern provinces. The meteorological service predicts widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorm activity over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and uttarakhand until Thursday. Rain will also fall in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and chhattisgarh during the next three days.

The lowest temperatures are expected to decline progressively by 2-3°C throughout much of Northwest and Central india during the next two days, according to the IMD. On thursday, scattered patches of dense fog are expected across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. During the next three days, shallow to moderate fog is expected across Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
