As the counting of votes is increasing in Chhattisgarh, surprising results are also emerging at the same pace.

Actually, deputy cm TS Singhdeo has lost the election. He was the congress candidate on Ambikapur seat. BJP

candidate Rajesh Aggarwal has defeated him in the election. congress demanded recounting. TS Singh Deo lost

even after recounting. However, the margin of defeat definitely reduced. He lost by just 94 votes.

The defeat has not been officially announced yet but he is trailing behind bjp candidate Rajesh Aggarwal by 8

thousand votes. TS Singhdev is not the only big leader of congress who has lost in the elections, but state

president deepak Baij has lost from Chitrakot and minister Amarjeet Bhagat has lost from Sitapur. Both of them

have been defeated by bjp candidates.

Ambikapur has been a stronghold of congress since 2008.

Whereas, if we talk about the political career of TS Singhdev, he was considered to be in the race for CM. TS

Singhdev is famous as baba in Chhattisgarh. Ambikapur was considered a stronghold of Congress. Barring the

2003 assembly elections, this seat has always been in the possession of Congress. In 2003, BJP's Kamal Bhan

Singh had planted a lotus on the Ambikapur seat which was reserved before delimitation. After delimitation in

2008, Ambikapur became the general seat. TS Singhdev had been winning this seat three times in a row in 2008,

2013 and 2018, but this time the situation has turned upside down.
