Father of gangster Jaipal, will contest lok sabha elections...

Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) on monday announced candidates for three more seats in punjab in its second list for the lok sabha elections. The party has given a ticket from Firozpur to the father of slain gangster Jaipal Bhullar. Simranjit Singh Mann led party has fielded his son Iman Singh Mann from amritsar and Harpal Singh Baler from Khadur Sahib. SAD (Amritsar) has given ticket to retired punjab police Inspector bhupinder singh Bhullar from the Ferozepur lok sabha seat. His son Jaipal Bhullar was killed along with other gangsters in an encounter with the police in kolkata in 2021. There were more than 40 criminal cases against Jaipal in punjab, haryana and Rajasthan.

Simranjit Singh Mann is the current mp from Sangrur. Last month, the party had announced five candidates for punjab and two for Haryana. Voting for 13 lok sabha seats in punjab is to be held on june 1, while voting for 10 seats in haryana is to be held on May 25.

Shiromani Akali Dal amritsar President Simranjit Singh Mann has once again contested the elections from the Sangrur seat. He is currently an mp from this seat. Apart from this, Mahinderpal Singh has been fielded from patiala by his party. Amritpal Singh has been given the ticket from Ludhiana, Baldev Singh from Faridkot, and Kushalpal Singh from Anandpur Sahib.

Apart from this, Shiromani Akali Dal has fielded its candidates on two lok sabha seats of amritsar, Haryana. In this, ticket has been given to Khajan Singh from Kurukshetra parliamentary seat and Harjeet Singh from the Karnal lok sabha seat.
