A team of 4 persons including one Assistant Veterinary Inspector, one Animal Care Assistant, and two Disinfectants are deployed at the check posts round the clock in 2 shifts. Similarly, since bird flu has been confirmed in kerala, disease prevention measures have been intensified in poultry farms in the Namakkal area as a precautionary measure.
