A stand in Wankhede Stadium has been named after sharad pawar, the head of NCP-SP in Maharashtra. This honor has been given to sharad pawar by mumbai cricket Association (MCA). Actually, this decision was taken during the general meeting of MCA on tuesday (15 April). It was decided in the meeting that one stand (spectator gallery or pavilion) each will be named after the current indian Test captain rohit sharma, former captain Ajit Wadekar and former bcci president sharad pawar in Wankhede Stadium, which has now been completed.
The third floor of the grand stand will now be known by the name of Sharad Pawar
According to the proposal passed in the meeting, the third floor of Divecha Pavilion will now be known as rohit sharma Stand. At the same time, the third floor of the grand stand will be named after former ICC chairman Sharad Pawar. Apart from this, the fourth floor of the Grand Stand will be named after Wadekar.

MCA President Ajinkya Naik said, "These decisions reflect our deep respect for the pillars of mumbai cricket and our determination to build a strong future."
Memorial lounge named after Amol Kale
Apart from this, to pay tribute to its former president Amol Kale, the MCA has decided to rename the match day office at the MCA Pavilion as 'MCA office Lounge in memory of Shri Amol Kale'.
