National students Union of india (NSUI) organized 'Shakti March' in delhi today. The purpose of this march was to honor the decisive leadership of former prime minister of india indira gandhi and to salute the courage of indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in defense of the country. This march was taken out under the leadership of NSUI National President varun Chaudhary, in which a large number of students and youth participated. Through the march, the youth showed solidarity against terrorism and strengthened the spirit of patriotism.

'Never compromised on national security'

Addressing the march, varun Chaudhary said, "India still needs a strong and clear-thinking leadership like Indira Gandhi. She gave a befitting reply to pakistan in 1971 and never compromised on national security. Today when pakistan is promoting terrorism, we should also respond equally strongly."

'There can be no compromise on self-respect'

He said that india is a sovereign nation of 1.4 billion citizens, and our decisions should be only in the interest of the country, and not under any foreign pressure or mediation. There can be no compromise on national security, borders and self-respect.

Through the 'Shakti March' of NSUI, the sacrifice and courage of the indian Army was honored. Also, the organization reiterated its resolve to keep alive the strong leadership ability of indira gandhi and the spirit of national unity. NSUI gave the message that the youth organization will always stand with those who protect the country and will continue to struggle at every level for the integrity, self-respect and security of the nation.
