'Will expose corruption'
NCP SP's maharashtra president Jayant Patil clarified the party's primary strategy for the upcoming local self-government bodies elections. He called upon all district and taluka level units to strengthen the organisation at the booth level. Patil said that it is necessary to expose the massive corruption going on in various government offices during the tenure of the current government and this responsibility should be shouldered by the workers of the Nationalist congress (Sharad Pawar group), Tapase said.
Senior party leaders will tour the state
With the aim of empowering the new generation of the party, the youth and women fronts will be strengthened and new, enthusiastic volunteers will be inducted into the party in large numbers. It was also decided in the meeting that the senior leaders of the party will soon tour the entire state and review the party's organisational status and government schemes at the district and taluka level.Special focus will be given to the problems of farmers, unemployment among youth and other important issues affecting the lives of the common people.
