The delhi High court has issued a notice on the petition of aam aadmi party (AAP) against the order of the State Directorate to cancel the allotment of the party office and sought a response. Justice Sachin Dutta's bench in the delhi High court has issued a notice to the central government and the State Directorate and ordered to file a detailed affidavit in this matter. The delhi High court will hear the petition of aam aadmi party on august 12.
The aam aadmi party has also challenged the decision to occupy the office and charge rent at market rate in the delhi High Court. The aam aadmi party said in its petition that the concerned department has done so without informing the party the reason for cancelling the allotment. 'AAP' has challenged the order issued by the State Directorate on september 14. In this, the allotment made in its favour for the office was cancelled.
The order of the State Directorate is wrong
The petition filed in the delhi High court states that the order of the State Directorate to cancel the allotment is wrong. Because, before cancelling the allotment, no reason notice was issued to the petitioner by the department and neither was AAP given adequate time. Arguing in the delhi High court on behalf of AAP, it was said that the order of the concerned department to cancel the allotment is a violation of the basic principles of justice.
AAP had alleged that the central government is not treating it equally with other parties. On the other hand, the Center clarified that there is no vacant space for the party office in Central Delhi. In this case, Justice Sachin Dutta has issued a notice on the petition regarding the decision to cancel the office and to stay the penalty.
