Kunal Kamra said, "In october I was planning shows in thane - New mumbai - mumbai - pune - Nashik - nagpur - Aurangabad. Please coordinate with Shinde and his army, if I can be ignored."
There was a controversy over the statement on Eknath Shinde
Recently Kunal Kamra had taunted maharashtra Deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde in a poetic style and called him a traitor. After this, shiv sena workers got angry and vandalized the studio in which Kamra did comedy.
A case was also registered against Kamra. After this the police summoned him for questioning. He did not come. Kunal Kamra first got relief from the madras High Court. Then he filed a petition in the bombay High Court, from where he got exemption from arrest.
