Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on thursday said that the armed forces should not be politicized. He accused the bjp of taking advantage of Operation Sindoor for political gain and said that such politics should not be done. I salute the armed forces. But, the army should not be politicized.
cm Mann said have you ever seen a former prime minister wearing a military uniform? But, now the uniform is being used for political gain. This should not happen. He said that the armed forces fight for the country and have nothing to do with politics.
The bjp had earlier attacked cm Mann for his one nation, one husband statement and called it insulting. On Tuesday, he accused the bjp of seeking votes in the name of 'Sindoor' and asked if they have started the One Nation, One husband scheme.
Bhagwant Mann again took a dig at the bjp on Wednesday, saying that this is the first time that an indian delegation has been sent abroad to tell about the country's victory in a conflict.
cm Mann made a big allegation on Akali Dal
During this, cm Mann also targeted the Akali Dal and accused it of bringing gangsters to Punjab. He alleged that the gangsters who are infamous today came into existence during the tenure of the Akalis. He alleged that drugs were also brought by them. He also recalled the incident of Nabha jail break and held the Akalis responsible for this incident. These people have ruined Punjab. They neither built any school nor college. They handed over the roads to private companies, promoted sand and land mafias and insulted the religion. They occupied Sikh institutions and ignored the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
